Meet Zoe! Our DCSA Commercial Dance Ambassador

Welcome, Zoe, as the DCSA Commercial Dance Ambassador! 

 Zoe has received her ballet training at DCSA since 2021. She has trained with Mrs Bessler in the day training program and the pre-professional afternoon programs at DCSA. She has also participated as a CBSA artist performing on SA’s biggest stages.

Zoe is a current pre-teen Dancer of the Year for Tremaine, the premier commercial dance convention in the U.S. She also serves as a company member for Tremaine Dance and Streetz Dance convention. She has competed in commercial dance competitions since age 4. Her most memorable was, because of dance, being cast in Disney’s The Santa Clauses alongside Mr. Tim Allen. “I loved being able to not only dance, but to act and sing as well,” said Zoe. As a dancer, Zoe believes no one should ever let anyone make them feel as though they can only be great at one genre. “Break out of that box and push yourself to be better than you were the day before” she says.

Zoe’s goal is to receive a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from a leading institution while continuing to pursue professional working opportunities. Zoe’s next phase of her dance training and career will require intentional training and support for industry experience. DCSA’s Commercial Dance program will offer Zoe and her family the support and flexibility to customize her dance experience to support her goals.
