Celebrate a decade of holiday enchantment with our 10th anniversary production of The Children's Nutcracker! We are thrilled to bring this timeless ballet to life on the magnificent Lila Cockrell stage, located on the historic Riverwalk December 13-15, 2024.

We are looking for dancers, gymnasts, musicians, or actors aged 3 to 19 to join us in this special milestone production. We invite you to be part of this magical journey.

Actors: Tell our story with narration and pantomime! All acting auditioners will receive their lines at audition and be taken through a series of pantomime exercises. Please check-in 30 minutes before the audition time.

Get ready for an enchanting adventure as Polar Express, The Musical makes its world premiere at the iconic Empire Theatre December 6-8, 2024! This is your opportunity to be a part of a heartwarming holiday classic brought to life on stage.

We are seeking dynamic performers with exceptional acting, vocal, and dancing skills to join our cast. Dancers of all styles are invited to audition as we search for talented and dedicated performers proficient in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, commercial jazz, or gymnastics. Musicians will have the chance to shine, performing timeless songs from the beloved original.

• Date: Friday, August 16, 5 - 6:30 p.m., 6:30-8 p.m.

IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE!

After 9 years of bringing high-quality dance training to San Antonio, we are kicking off our 10th anniversary celebration by having an OPEN CALL for new talent. We will award $10,000 among 10 dancers turning 10 during our 10th anniversary season (June 1, 2024 - June 1, 2025). DCSA has been recognized as the #23 spot in the Top 5% of the most prestigious ballet schools in the U.S. Out of 93 schools, that puts us in the top 2.5%! Our flagship pre-professional training programs are developing the next generation of world-class artists and leaders.

OUR FINAL audition is coming up on July 24th.

We are looking for talented children to develop the next generation of superstars. All our programs are open to the public. (Selected artists will need to commit to full pre-professional program training, minimum of five days a week.
