At DCSA we are so excited to be producing dancers who are living extraordinary lives! Mackenzie Kirsch exemplifies this well - after completing a rigorous selection process, Mackenzie Kirsch was selected from some 363 dancers from 40 countries to compete in the prestigious Prix de Lausanne competition. At the end of October 2018 Prix de Lausanne announced the 80 competitors from 20 countries who would be competing in the competition held in February 2019 - among those 80 competitors there are just 10 American dancers from 8 American schools. Check out Pointe magazine’s article here introducing these 10 dancers!

The Prix de Lausanne is adjudicated by renowned directors of the world's leading companies, and is attended by the world's top schools to scout talent and offer scholarships for their training programs.

It is a wonderful honor to be selected for this competition and we hope that you will join us in wishing Mackenzie all the best as she represents DCSA and San Antonio at Prix de Lausanne next month!
