Summer Camps

for Young Dancers

During our camps young children ages 3-7 are introduced to the world of dance in a fun way. DCSA instructors will engage young dancers with creative, age-appropriate exercises and activities. Our summer camp is designed to help develop motor skills, flexibility, creativity and fitness in young dancers all while having a great time in a nurtured environment! It’s a way to keep young dancers active, safe, engaging with others dancers their age.

Young dancers will work on basic principles of movement and fundamentals of dance. They will also learn about music and rhythm as well as increase awareness of their bodies and space! Additionally, Young dancers will also work on crafts - making wands, masks, crown or other accessories that they will integrate into their dances. And we can’t forget about story time! Young dancers will delight in the selection of stories related to our theme for the week and dance!

The camp program times will run 10 am - 1:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Dancers should arrive in attire suitable for dance - dance attire and shoes. (Play clothes and socks are also an acceptable option if the camper does not have dance clothes.) Dance attire can be purchased in our lobby or Tutus & Ribbons Boutique. Pack a water bottle labeled with your dancer's name, and pack a nut-free heavy snack (10 am-1 pm).

The week will end with a special presentation for parents at 12:45 pm on Fridays. See what the campers have worked on all week - it’s a great time for pictures!

$150 / week (no daily rates)

We guarantee small class sizes, therefore space is limited. Tuition is non-refundable.
